Registered Nurse - Medical Emergency Response Team - Nights

Job Summary
Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process. Direct and supervise team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to provide age-appropriate care per unit standards. Communicate clearly, build relationships for collaboration, and take initiative for professional growth. Maintain accountability for performance and actively seek ways to improve the patient experience. Requires current Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least two years of RN experience with MET experience preferred. Work 12-hour night shifts from 6p-6a, three days per week at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
- Work experience: at least 2+ years RN experience
- MET - Medical Emergency Team experience

- BSN Strongly Preferred
