Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for individuals with pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care with other departments and evaluating the effectiveness of direct care givers. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld in accordance with Mercy Service Standards. Maintain a current RN license and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card. Work rotational day shifts from 0630 to 1900 on a part-time basis.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within probation period
