Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for individuals with pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, asthma, and other lung-related illnesses. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care with other departments and promoting recovery through focused treatment and patient education. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Work full-time rotational day shifts from 0630 to 1900.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within probation period
