Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for individuals with pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, asthma, and other lung-related illnesses. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care with other departments and evaluating the effectiveness of direct care givers. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Obtain and maintain a current RN license and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card. Work full-time rotational day shifts from 0630 to 1900 at Mercy Hospital Springfield.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within their probation period
