Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Medical/Telemetry Unit for per diem night shifts in Reno, NV. Responsibilities include patient and family care assessment, developing and implementing the plan of care, coordinating interdisciplinary care, conducting hourly rounds to enhance safety and communication, collaborating with the patient’s designated care partner for education and support, and ensuring safe handoffs via SBAR. Role emphasizes patient-centered care, coordination of discharge planning, and ongoing professional development within a large health system. Requires a Nevada RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1 year of full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- Must have one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
