Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial, spiritual, and diversity-based care assessments while constructing and implementing individualized plans of care for assigned patients. Perform hourly rounds to evaluate patient needs, ensure environmental safety, and facilitate communication with designated care partners. Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment plans, develop discharge strategies, and execute SBAR handoffs to minimize risks during transitions. Provide compassionate medical/telemetry nursing care in a 124-bed acute care setting on a per diem night shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
