Job Summary
Per diem Registered Nurse on the Medical/Telemetry Unit for night shift at Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV. Provides patient-centered care, participates in care planning and discharge planning, conducts hourly rounds to enhance safety and communication, collaborates with the patient’s care partner to address educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs, and uses SBAR for safe handoffs across transitions in care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
