Job Summary
Assess psychosocial, spiritual, and diversity needs; construct and implement plans of care for patients with specific diagnoses and comorbidities. Coordinate interdisciplinary care, develop discharge goals, and conduct hourly rounds to evaluate pain, re-positioning, and toileting needs. Collaborate with care partners on educational and psychological support while utilizing SBAR for safe handoffs across transitions. This per diem night shift role on the Medical/Telemetry Unit at Northern Nevada Medical Center requires a Nevada-licensed RN with acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
