Job Summary
Assess patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs; construct and implement care plans integrating direct and indirect activities related to diagnosis and comorbidities. Coordinate interdisciplinary care implementation, developing goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual needs. Complete hourly rounds to strengthen communication, improve safety, and proactively evaluate the environment for patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with care partners to address educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs while utilizing SBAR for safe handoffs. This per diem night shift role on the Medical/Telemetry Unit at Northern Nevada Medical Center requires a Nevada-licensed RN with acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
