Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Medical/Telemetry Unit at Northern Nevada Medical Center with a day shift, full-time role. Responsibilities include developing and implementing patient care plans, coordinating interdisciplinary care, conducting hourly rounds, and collaborating with the patient’s care partner to address educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Must demonstrate Patient Centered Care principles, effective SBAR communication during handoffs, and provide safe, compassionate nursing care in an acute care environment. Requires Nevada RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and relevant acute care experience; opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting
