Registered Nurse- Med/Tele

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to Mercy Service Standards. Requires graduation from an approved nursing program (associate's degree, diploma, or BSN) with active RN licensure. Certifications commonly required include BLS and, depending on unit, ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, and STABLE among others. Demonstrates ability to perform duties with physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, movement and patient handling.
