Job Summary
Provide patient care on the Med Tele unit using the nursing process; ensure professional accountability for patient care and coordinate care with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Role supports higher-acuity cardiac/respiratory patients with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Requires RN licensure in hiring state/compact and BLS/ACLS per policy; relevant experience preferred with a sign-on bonus for eligible full-time applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire
