Job Summary
Manage patient care on the Inpatient Unit by accessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient outcomes using the nursing process. Collaborate with other health personnel while maintaining strong interpersonal skills with patients, families, staff, and management. Handle special needs and behaviors appropriate to the age of patients, demonstrating high organizational skills and the ability to work outside normal hours as volume demands. Requires current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York and appropriate experience in the specific clinical area.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing education program
- Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
- Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patient's families, staff and management
- Must be highly motivated
- Must be able to work outside the normal working hours as volume demands
- Must possess the ability to collaborate with other health personnel
- Must possess strong organizational skills
