Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care following established policies and protocols for Med Surg travel assignments. Implement, monitor, and record patient care plans and conditions. Coordinate multidisciplinary care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and manage patient discharge planning with the healthcare team. Requires RN licensure with a nursing diploma and BLS certification; travel assignments with night shifts (36 hours/week) across Ascension facilities. This role emphasizes bedside nursing duties, patient care coordination, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support safe, effective discharge planning across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Liscensure/Certification: BLS Provider within 30 days; RN license (compact or state) prior to start; Diploma from an accredited nursing program
