Job Summary
Registered Nurse position on the 26-bed medical floor (Med Surg Telemetry) at St James Healthcare in Butte, MT. The RN provides care to adult patients with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation cases. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring compassionate communication with patients and families, developing individualized treatment plans, complying with guidelines and documentation, and supervising LPNs/CNAs. Requires a BSN degree within 4 years (or has a path to BSN), Montana RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of recent acute-care RN experience. The role offers a $50/hour compensation, a travel stipend where applicable, and a temporary staffing arrangement (PRN/temporary RN). Required Qualifications
- BSN Degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service
- Current Montana RN license
- BLS Certification upon hire
- 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
- Preferred: National Certification in area of practice
- Interacts effectively with others and communicates well (oral and written)
- Ability to operate computers and office equipment
- Comfort with long periods of sitting/standing and use of computer/monitors
- Ability to lift and transport objects and perform bending/kneeling/reaching as needed
