Assess patient conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, promptly identifying and reporting status changes. Perform procedures, monitor patients for therapeutic responses to medications, and document care administration thoroughly in medical records. Administer prescribed medications, take appropriate action for unintended responses, and respond promptly to patient requests while proactively anticipating needs. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex terminology. Maintain BCLS certification within 30 days of employment start.
