Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - RN

Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care. Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care for assigned patients within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model. Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership activities, and quality improvement efforts. Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and resource adequacy. Demonstrate excellent communication skills while mentoring and teaching staff, and participate on committees or projects as needed. Note that a subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle.
