Job Summary
Deliver safe patient care within the Medical/Surgical Unit by conducting assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. Direct patient and family teaching while guiding activities of other nursing personnel to maintain standards of care. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
