Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer medications and IVs safely while maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age-appropriate care and ensure complete, accurate patient information communication. Supervise assigned team members and take initiative for professional growth within the Methodist Health System. Requires current Texas RN license, BSN preferred, and minimum 12 months of RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
- Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards
- Works with confidential material
- Weekends and Holidays Required
- Required to report to work
- Vision Essential
