Job Summary
The Registered Nurse leads the healthcare team by establishing an authentic relationship with the patient and chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. Utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey. Accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- If RN license inactive/retired for five years or more and not licensed in another state in last five years, completion of Board approved refresher course required prior to reactivating or reinstating license.
- One year relevant experience preferred.
