Job Summary
Assess patients by integrating subjective and objective data to determine immediate and future care needs. Collaborate with patients and support systems to prioritize interventions and adjust individualized care plans. Administer medication therapies, perform routine nursing care including IVs and dressing changes, and respond effectively to critical situations. Act as a patient advocate while educating the team and ensuring timely completion of treatments. Requires current RN licensure, one year of acute nursing experience, and BLS certification. Schedule is PRN 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- One year of acute nursing experience
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Successful completion of a Board approved refresher course (if RN license inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and not licensed in another state during the last five years)
- Application for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course (if applicable)
