Job Summary
Registered Nurse with Med Surg experience sought for night shift (3 - Night Shift, 12 Hours) 36-hours weekly at UMass Memorial Health. Responsible for planning, delivery, and management of direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge. Duties include patient assessment/reassessment, developing and coordinating individualized care plans including discharge planning, directing and evaluating nursing care within the assigned setting, and appropriately delegating to others as per competency. Requires Massachusetts nursing licensure/registration and BLS; ACLS and unit-specific certifications may be required. Preferred BSN. Describes a non-exempt, hospital-based role with potential signing bonus; Workday as the recruitment workflow tool.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS certification (required for every RN)
- ACLS certification current if not required by unit; in addition to any unit-specific certifications and competencies
