Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and mental health while monitoring vital signs, intake/output, and other clinical indicators. Safely administer prescribed medications and recognize warning signs of deterioration to act promptly. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure needs are met, providing education on conditions, treatments, and lifestyle adjustments. Communicate effectively with doctors, specialists, physical therapists, and social workers to develop and adjust care plans. This entry-level opportunity welcomes new graduates with no experience for training, requiring a current valid RN license, BCLS, and ACLS within 30 days. Shifts are nights from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS, part-time under 60 hours.
Required Qualifications
- current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State
- BCLS upon hire and maintain current
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for night shifts
- Must be able to work in a hospital setting
