Registered Nurse Med Surg Neuro Trauma

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients on a Neuro Trauma Med-Surg unit featuring 32 beds, including 12 ICU step-down beds. Utilize the nursing process with technology, therapeutic intervention, and evidence-based practice while coordinating care with interdisciplinary team members for conditions such as strokes, head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and post-operative spine surgeries. Manage patient care delivery through delegation, prioritization, and effective resource coordination within a fast-paced clinical setting. Provide accurate and timely documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards. This role supports St. Mary's Regional Hospital as the only Comprehensive Stroke Center within a 240-mile radius, serving western Colorado and eastern Utah.
