Job Summary
Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care for patients in Med Surg Neuro, including stroke, brain injury, and post-surgical recovery. Coordinate multidisciplinary care by serving as the central hub between physicians, therapists, and families to ensure a seamless and safe recovery, monitor and interpret patient status with rapid intervention, and empower patients and families through education and discharge planning to support a successful transition home. Ensure adherence to licensure and professional standards (BLS and RN licensure in Wisconsin or Compact state) and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
- Registered Nurse license (Wisconsin or multi-state/Compact)
- Diploma from accredited nursing program OR professional licensure at time of hire
