Job Summary
Admit and assess patients, administer medications and treatments, and monitor vital signs on an 18-bed Med/Surg unit with a 4:1 ratio. Run and order tests while coordinating care with physicians and specialists. Chart patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate care outcomes. Ensure immediate pre, intra, and post-operative patient contact. Requires current Tennessee licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma
- Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
- Valid BLS upon hire
- ACLS within 90 days of hire
- Chemotherapy Competency within 90 days of hire
- CPI within 90 days of hire
