Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Med Surg at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX. Provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS, Texas license or eligibility, BSN preferred, and a minimum of 6 months RN experience. The hospital is a 294-bed acute-care facility with recognition for nursing excellence and a strong commitment to staff development and community service.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility
- BSN preferred
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
