Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care; maintains accountability for patient care; evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers; coordinates patient care with other departments; preserves patient rights and confidentiality. Role is in Med Surg at Mercy Hospital Perry on the Night Shift with Part Time status and sign-on bonuses for Graduate and Experienced Nurses. Qualifications include graduation from a nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN), active RN license in hiring state or compact license, BLS certification (with other certifications as required by unit), and ability to meet physical requirements of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS etc as required by position/unit
- Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking, bending/kneeling/twisting/squatting
