Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients on night shift using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration, prioritizing patient care delivery while managing time, supplies, and resources. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Requires a current state license, BLS certification, and a BSN degree, with a focus on critical thinking, patient evaluation, and manual dexterity for equipment operation. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, this 36-hour night shift role offers an hourly range of $37.45 to $57.29.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
Desired Qualifications
