Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients using the nursing process, technology, and evidence-based practice. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team while directing care delivery through delegation and resource management. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Requires current Registered Nurse licensure, Basic Life Support certification, and a BSN; includes night shift coverage with 36 weekly hours at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
