Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients using the nursing process, therapeutic intervention, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver care consistent with professional licensure. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care involving patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Requires a current Registered Nurse license with a BSN, Basic Life Support Certification, and experience working night shifts in a Med Surg setting at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
