Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of physical, social, and psychological patient status, including cognitive and developmental skills. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, then implement delegated care while managing time, supplies, and resources. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all activities. Maintain legal and ethical standards while promoting the nursing profession and participating in staff development. Requires current state licensure, Basic Life Support certification, and BSN degree; works night shift with 36 weekly hours at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
