Job Summary

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients on night shift using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and coordination while setting priorities to manage patient care delivery, supplies, and resources. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care with patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals, and revise plans based on clinical outcomes and satisfaction. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhere to legal and ethical standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires a current state RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN degree; involves lifting patients, ambulating them, and navigating crowded rooms. Night shift schedule with 36 weekly hours; hourly rate $37.45 to $57.29.

Required Qualifications

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
  • Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
  • Degree will be verified

Desired Qualifications

  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
