Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medical-surgical patients using the nursing process, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practice. Direct the care team through delegation and coordination while managing priorities, resources, and documentation to ensure legal and ethical compliance. Reassess patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and BSN degree; includes night shift coverage with 36 weekly hours at $37.45–$57.29 hourly. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
