Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for physical, social, and psychological status using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation, coordinate care delivery, and manage time, supplies, and resources while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with physicians, families, and support staff to develop individualized plans of care, including education and referrals, and revise plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and strong manual dexterity for patient transfers and equipment operation in a busy hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
