Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct care delivery by delegating tasks, managing time and resources, and coordinating with physicians, families, and support staff to achieve individualized care goals. Provide accurate documentation, maintain legal and ethical standards, and revise care plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Requires a current state RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; includes night shift rotation with 36 weekly hours. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
