Job Summary
Assess patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs. Construct and implement the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill for diagnosis and co-mobidities. Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care, developing goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans. Complete hourly rounds to strengthen communication, improve safety, and proactively evaluate the environment for patient needs. Provide safe and compassionate care in the medical/telemetry environment while demonstrating Service Excellence standards. This per diem night shift role offers convenient scheduling on the 124-bed acute care unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
Desired Qualifications
- One-year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting preferred
