Job Summary
Monitor vital signs, administer intravenous medications, and provide bandage care and pain management to assigned inpatients. Support patients with rest, hydration, and nutrition while tracking progress, updating medical records, and communicating with physicians. Educate patients and advocate for their needs within the Med/Surg Department at Grand River Health's main hospital campus in Rifle, CO. Full-time night shift with a pay range of $29.42 to $46.20 per hour plus $2 to $4 hourly shift differentials. Requires Colorado RN registration, current BLS, and ACLS/PALS/ENPC certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado
- Current BLS card
- ACLS, PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of initial employment
- One year of professional nursing experience in a patient care setting
- 18 years of age or older
