Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in a 12-hour day shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. three days a week. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age-appropriate care while supervising assigned team members and ensuring accurate medication and IV administration. Maintain complete, timely patient communication and create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers. Requires a Texas RN license, BSN preferred, and minimum 12 months of RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
- Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards
