Job Summary
Registered Nurse position in Med/Surg on Night shift at Memorial Health in Marysville, OH. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver comprehensive patient care, coordinating and directing nursing care with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate data collection, thorough documentation on hospital forms, and educating patients and families with written materials as needed. Requires Ohio nursing licensure (or multi-state with Ohio recognition), 2+ years of clinical experience, ongoing CE hours, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months, and BHDT within 6 months, with annual renewals. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in Ohio or multi-state with Ohio recognition
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Completion of 24 contact hours of CE during each licensure renewal period as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing
- Continuous certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification in American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of employment and bi-annual renewal thereafter
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire and annual renewal thereafter
- Behavioral Health & De-Escalation Training (BHDT) within 6 months of hire and annual renewal thereafter
