Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process. Conduct thorough patient assessments, document findings accurately, and report changes to the care team. Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and assist physicians during procedures within documented competency. Respond to medical emergencies, participate in life-saving interventions such as CPR and code team activities, and advocate for patient rights. Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. Implement infection control protocols, monitor and operate medical equipment, and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals. Participate in audits, chart reviews, compliance checks, and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain regular attendance and demonstrate responsible decision-making in planning and delegating care.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
