Registered Nurse Med Surg Float Pool

Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications, delegate tasks to non-licensed staff, and provide pre- and post-operative care. Educate patients and families on treatments and facilitate discharge planning in coordination with the care team. Requires 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience, an Associate or Bachelor's degree, and ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications. Located at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Austin, Texas.
