Job Summary
Provide expert nursing care across Neurology, Orthopedics, Oncology, Observation, Pulmonary Post Thoracic Surgery, Renal Dialysis, Vascular, and Medical Telemetry units. Implement complex care plans, monitor patient conditions, and synchronize efforts with physicians, therapists, and specialists. Masterfully carry out specialized orders for post-thoracic recovery, renal, and pulmonary populations while rapidly assessing and coordinating discharge needs. Act as a steady advocate for patients in ever-changing clinical environments. Full-time nights shift required. BLS certification within 30 days and Tennessee RN licensure prior to hire mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS Provider
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Professional licensure at time of hire
