Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care while supervising nursing staff according to SAH policies and procedures. Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate holistic nursing care with other health care providers in a Critical Access Hospital setting. Support the Patient Bill of Rights and uphold professional standards during full-time 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm-7:00am), working three shifts per week. Eligible for night shift differentials and a $7,000 recruitment bonus. Requires ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, with a BSN preferred and one year of acute/emergency experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Nebraska
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required or will obtain within 6 months of employment
- Trauma Nurse Core Class (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in nursing preferred
- One year experience in acute and/or emergency room setting preferred
- Experience in providing care to a general population preferred
