Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Med/Surg at Mercy Hospital Logan County in Guthrie, OK. Full-time 36 hours/week, days shift 7am–7pm with rotating weekends/holidays. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses and $10,000 for new grads. Unit operates with a 5:1 patient/nurse ratio; collaborates with Therapy to coordinate care for inpatient, observation, and Swing patients in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. Requires RN nursing degree and current RN license in the hiring state or compact license; ACLS and BLS certifications (or course completion within 30 days of hire); additional unit-specific certifications as required. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for shifts. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: current RN license in hiring state and/or compact Licensure
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or completion within 30 days of hire
- Other unit-specific certifications as required or can be acquired within department timeframe
