Job Summary
Provide patient care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital unit with a 5:1 patient/nurse ratio. Collaborate closely with the Therapy department to coordinate care and facilitate patient return to pre-hospitalization lifestyles. Maintain current RN licensure and obtain required ACLS and BLS certifications. Work rotating weekends and holidays on a 36-hour week from 7am to 7pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
