Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process. Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs via telemetry equipment, and document findings accurately. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, respond to medical emergencies, and implement infection control protocols. Provide patient and family education on medical conditions and post-discharge care while advocating for patient rights. Participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes. Requires 0-2 years of clinical experience, RN licensure, and BCLS certification. Full-time 3x12s day shift with some weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
- Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
