Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols. Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans, documenting and communicating changes in patient condition. Coordinate interdisciplinary care as a liaison among healthcare team members to ensure well-organized, effective treatment. Carry out physician and nursing orders and assist with assessing and planning patients' discharge needs. This Registered Nurse Med Surg role operates on a day shift full-time schedule at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for BLS Provider
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
