Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This Registered Nurse Med Surg position requires a night shift schedule from 7pm to 7:30am, three shifts per week, with rotating weekends, holidays, and call. BLS certification and Indiana RN licensure are required prior to hire.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
