Registered Nurse - Med Surg 0.9 FTE (PM/Nights)

Job Summary
Provide leadership and direction to the patient care team while delivering nursing care for adults, pediatrics, infants, adolescents, and the elderly. Conduct physical, psychological, and social assessments to formulate nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans. Manage, organize, and prioritize direct patient care activities, including clinical decision-making. Educate patients, families, and other health care team members on health maintenance, disease processes, and discharge planning. Work on other units as needed based on staff and patient distribution. This role requires a valid Wisconsin nursing license, ACLS certification, and current CPR. Shifts are 36 hours per week from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid nursing license as recognized by state of Wisconsin
- Current CPR
- ACLS certification
- FTE: 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week)
- Shift: PM/Nights, 7PM-7AM. Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree preferred
- A minimum of one-two years of experience on a Medical/Surgical unit or an equivalent is preferred
